Question: Where can you get over a thousand inmates to dance to Michael Jackson’s Thriller?
Answer: Only in the Philippines!
Entertaining stuff! Though the cross-dresser’s receding hairline is a bit unsettling…
No YouTube in the office? Check out Spiked Humor instead.
Edit: These inmates live at the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center (CPDRC), and apparently these dance numbers (yes, there are more here) are an everyday thing. At least according to this highfalutin article. Thanks to Eugene for the heads-up!

Is this for real? Haha, natakot naman ako dun sa bading.
I saw this video on a bunch of blogs and I found it incredulous to say the least. I wonder what motivated inmates to create a massive choreographed dance number? Do they all get 1 year off of their sentences?
Interestingly, the information about this event was already added to Wikipedia: Thriller (music video).
OMG. Do a search on YouTube for CPDRC (the jail) to see all the other dance numbers these inmates have done.
You mean there are others?!
Marcvill: I wonder how they chose the cross-dressing inmate. Volunteer? Time off the sentence?
Sasha and Eugene: Yep, just added a link to the Google results linking to all the inmates’ YouTube vids.
IN SEYBOO! B! Waah.
I’m so inspired!!! Let’s make our own BBN video!
xtina: Where’s the jail located?
LJ: Will you be the lead dancer?
