Filipino nurses can now study and work at the same time in order to qualify to full-time employment as a nurse or senior carer in the United Kingdom.

A company called International Student Advisors Ltd. Inc. has launched its Student Work Placement Scheme, in cooperation with the Anglia Ruskin University based in England, which gives nursing graduates an opportunity to qualify in the UK.

Something that may interest Philippine Nurse? Nursing is currently the in thing here in the Philippines. As the Western world ages, many Filipinos want to take advantage of a potential boom, maximizing the economic opportunities of a first-world salary while making the twilight years of the baby boomers more bearable.

The program comes at a cost though: $5000 tuition for the two-year cost, as well as “initial costs for… placements”
