A few days ago, Carla Jimenez (no, not this Carla Jimenez) told us through email about a website she’s apparently involved with: iVote.ph. And I’m glad she did, because in the highly-charged atmosphere leading up to Eleksyon 2007, it’s easier to choose the right candidates when people have access to an unbiased presentation of facts.
That is what iVote.ph does, providing profiles of would-be senators (the candidate database should be more comprehensive though), short essays on important issues, links to relevant news, and even a basic primer on the elections itself.
I do hope they put up their blog soon, so we can have more regular access to iVote.ph’s impartial take. Here’s to your genuinely beneficial use of the web, Carla & Co.!
