I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but we’ve recently placed the pictures of our bloggers on the sidebar, underneath the section titled Our Bloggers. Now you’ll see the faces behind our blogs. Quite a good-looking bunch, if I may say so. Especially since they’re featuring their best smiles.
We decided to do this because ultimately, our bloggers define our blogs. That’s why we push them at every opportunity. By showing you how they look like, we hope you’ll have an easier identifying with who they are and what they have to offer.
We’d like to know what you think. Does seeing the blogger behind the blog make your visit to the BBN more worthwhile? Or are the pictures in the Our Bloggers section mere eye candy?

personally, i like seeing pictures of the bloggers–i like the personal touch, seeing the faces behind the names.
It is not an un-unwelcome bundle. A nice addition, a face to connect to the posts. The writing though is still the spirit and character of their blog. After the photos it, the writing, is the one thing that makes you come back again and again.
Juned, “not an un-unwelcome bundle”? Meaning “an unwelcome bundle”?
Eugene, I had a feeling you would react. The un-s cancel each other out, making it a welcome bundle.
I should have stuck to … you know what I mean
I think adding the pics is a nice thing. Seeing the pic of a blogger somehow stirs up curiosity and urges you to check out the blog. It’s like the MyBloLog effect. The pics should help increase ‘first-time’ visitors.
Like what Juned said, if the blog really has great content or writing, then this is what converts a ‘first-time’ visitor into a regular one hopefully.
More power to BBN!! Uy, malapit na ang launching I heard!!
Thanks for commenting guys!
SexyMom: We also believe the pictures make it easier for readers to “trust” our bloggers.
Juned: You’re right. We just hope the pics will make our great content attractive for the casual reader.
Eugene: I think Juned was using the double-negative to stress his point. hehe.
Marcvill: And I’m sure you like looking at Gail’s pic, don’t cha?
@Juned and Rico, double negatives are fine, but it seems Juned used a triple negative leading to a simple negative. Hehehe.
Oh yeah, he should’ve gone quadruple: “It really isn’t not an un-unwelcome bundle.”
OK. Its a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious bundle
Just noticed, may typo error yung link kay Kristine Roa! Haynaku, you just lost a first time visitor for her blog. I’ll check it out again soon. Sana fixed na! hehe.
